IMPRINT is a digital tool that helps interior design studios understand client aesthetic preferences through a guided visual selection experience.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit our website, create an account, subscribe to IMPRINT, or use the IMPRINT platform.

"IMPRINT", "we", "us" or "our" refers to Creativise Limited, operating the IMPRINT platform. Questions? Contact us at hello@useimprint.design.
01

Our role

IMPRINT handles personal information in two distinct ways, depending on whose data is involved and for what purpose.

Data Controller
Studio & subscriber information

When a studio, designer or business user creates an account or subscribes to IMPRINT, we are the data controller. We decide why and how that information is used.

Data Processor
Studio client information

When a studio uses IMPRINT with its own clients, the studio is the data controller. IMPRINT processes that client information on the studio's behalf and in line with our agreement.

Studios are responsible for informing their clients about how their information will be used, and for ensuring they have a lawful basis for collecting and processing it under UK GDPR.

02

Information we collect about studios and subscribers

We may collect the following information from studio users, subscribers and account holders:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Business or studio name
  • Login and account details
  • Subscription status
  • Billing and payment-related information
  • Customer support messages
  • Usage information, such as how the platform is accessed and used
  • Technical information, such as browser type, device information and IP address

We do not store full payment card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider.

03

Information processed on behalf of studios

When a studio uses IMPRINT with its clients, the platform may process information such as:

  • Client name and email address
  • Interior design preferences
  • Image selections and visual references
  • Time spent reviewing images
  • Aesthetic summary information
  • Notes, tags or outputs generated through the platform

This information belongs to the studio's client relationship. The studio decides why it is collected and how it is used. IMPRINT provides the technical platform through which studios collect, organise and review that information.

04

How we use studio and subscriber information

We use studio and subscriber information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Provide access to the IMPRINT platform
  • Manage subscriptions and billing
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve the performance, security and reliability of the platform
  • Send service-related messages
  • Understand how the platform is being used
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We may also send occasional product or service updates where permitted by law. Users can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

05

Lawful bases for using studio and subscriber information

We rely on different lawful bases depending on how we use the information.

Contract

Where processing is necessary to provide the IMPRINT service, manage accounts, process subscriptions or respond to support requests.

Legitimate interests

Where processing is necessary for our business interests, such as improving the platform, maintaining security, preventing misuse or understanding service performance.

Legal obligation

Where processing is required to meet legal, accounting, tax or regulatory obligations.

Consent

Where consent is required, for example for certain optional marketing communications or non-essential cookies.

06

Who we share information with

We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate IMPRINT. These may include:

  • Payment processors, such as Stripe
  • Database and authentication providers, such as Supabase
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, such as Cloudflare
  • Email and customer support tools
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants or legal advisers, where necessary

Where these providers process personal information on our behalf, we require them to protect that information and only use it for the agreed purpose. We do not sell personal information.

07

Studio responsibility for client information

Studios using IMPRINT are responsible for ensuring that their own clients understand how their personal information will be used. This includes explaining:

  • What client information is being collected and why
  • How IMPRINT is used as part of the studio's design process
  • Who the information may be shared with
  • How long the studio will retain the information
  • What rights the client has under applicable data protection law

IMPRINT processes studio client information on the studio's behalf. We do not use studio client information for our own independent marketing or unrelated purposes.

08

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, secure hosting, authentication systems and restricted internal access.

No digital platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Studios are also responsible for keeping their own account login details secure.

09

Data retention

We keep studio and subscriber information for as long as needed to provide the service, manage subscriptions, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Studio client information is retained in accordance with the settings, instructions or account status of the relevant studio, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Where a studio asks us to delete client information, we will do so in accordance with our agreement, unless we are legally required to retain it.

10

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where this happens, we take steps designed to ensure that personal information continues to receive appropriate protection under applicable data protection laws.

11

Cookies and analytics

Our website and platform may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the site and platform functioning, improve performance, understand usage, support security and remember preferences.

Where required, we will ask for consent before using non-essential cookies.

12

Your rights

Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Ask for information to be deleted
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Request a portable copy of your information
  • Complain to a data protection authority

Studio users can contact us directly at hello@useimprint.design.

If you are a client of a studio using IMPRINT, you should usually contact the studio first, as the studio is the controller of your client information.

13

Children

IMPRINT is intended for use by professional studios and their clients. It is not directed at children. Studios should not use IMPRINT to knowingly collect information from children unless they have the appropriate lawful basis, permissions and safeguards in place.

14

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where changes are significant, we may provide additional notice to users.
